This is the layer that makes the rest of the system feel effortless — voice control, one-touch scenes and appliances that can be switched from anywhere. It also solves ordinary problems: the geyser left on all day, the pump nobody remembers to switch off, the motor you would rather not walk outside to start in the rain.

    Choosing what to control

    We identify the loads worth automating — geyser, pump, outdoor lighting, entertainment — with a bias towards high-power appliances where forgetting to switch off has a real cost.

    Fitting control

    Smart plugs handle portable appliances. Switch and relay modules sit behind the plate for fixed loads like a geyser or pump, so the appliance itself stays untouched and the wall looks unchanged.

    Voice and scenes

    Devices are added to Alexa or Google Home and grouped into rooms and scenes, so a single phrase or button can drive several appliances at once instead of one at a time.

    Handover

    We name devices sensibly, set up every household member's phone, and make sure the manual switch still works — because voice control that only the person who installed it can use is not much use.

Smart plugs

The simplest entry point, and genuinely useful for anything that plugs in. Many include energy monitoring, which is often the first time people see what an appliance actually costs them to run.

In-wall relay modules

For fixed loads — geysers, pumps, outdoor lights — a module behind the switch plate gives app and voice control while keeping the existing switch working normally.

Voice assistants

Alexa or Google Home tie the devices together and add hands-free control and routines. Choosing one and staying with it avoids the fragmentation that makes smart homes frustrating.

Alexa or Google Home — which should I choose?

Either works well with the hardware we fit, so pick the one that matches the phones and speakers you already use. What matters far more is choosing one and standing by it, rather than splitting devices across both.

Can I control a water pump or geyser this way?

Yes, with a properly rated in-wall module — not a plug-in adapter. These are high-current loads, so they need a module specified for the job and wired into the circuit correctly, which is part of what we do on site.

Does it work without internet?

Wall switches always keep working. Local app control often does too, on your home Wi-Fi. Voice assistants and remote access need the internet, since the request travels to the provider's service and back.

Is it secure?

It depends on doing the basics properly: a strong unique password on your Wi-Fi and accounts, two-factor authentication where offered, and firmware kept current. We set these up at handover rather than leaving devices on factory defaults.
